Hummus
Kosher for Passover
Kosher, but with caveats.
Hummus itself, made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic, can be kosher for Passover. However, many Jewish communities have a custom to avoid legumes (kitniyot) during Passover, which includes chickpeas. Therefore, while hummus is inherently kosher, its permissibility during Passover depends on individual or communal customs regarding kitniyot.
